You must have accidentally added your gmail into the outlook, go to Outlook -> Files -> account settings -> Account settings -> under the Email Accounts see if any Google account is showing up. if it is , then remove it or save password.

The summary is that in Outlook your server settings (or account settings) need to be changed: I'm not using two-factor authentication and this solution worked for me. Note that I disconnected from the network to make those changes so that the Google Mail pop-up window would not pop up again and again while I made the changes.
Google is constantly popping up to demand approval for outlook to do all sorts of activities with regard for gmail accounts being accessed via outlook. Like others below, I am about to stop using outlook to access my email unless Microsoft works this out with Google.
